Yeah! I have been running this night down the Social, a lovely little venue on Little Portland St, London for 5 years now. The time, of course, has flown by. Every month I invite interesting bands and artists down the Social to play a gig. It’s as simple as that really! I’ve tried to go for artists who haven’t played London much before, and the line ups over the half a decade (oh god) have been superb. I am currently collating all the line-ups so I can list them here, but it’s taking longer than I thought and involves thinking, and finding old deleted emails from bands, agents, managers and friends. I wanna thank Olli Dutton for being at more of the nights than me (I was away for two of them, I think), and for djing at every one! Also Louise Kattenhorn who helped me start it, Mully who did the door for a bit when it was a paying night (it’s free now), and Martyn Davies for coming to loads of them and being supportive. And a big thanks to Carl Gosling at the Social for being supportive from day one, and the lovely staff there.
